Get ready for issue 2509 of Resale Weekly

The next ‘Special Issue’ of Resale Weekly, number 2509, is shaping up to be a bumper edition that focuses on Asia and Australasia as well as covering commercial vehicles. These are all BOOM markets and ones to sell into. If you have heavy equipment to sell, then this is the issue to advertise in.

The Australian economy is still buoyant with mining and infrastructure works demanding specific types of equipment and machinery. Large dump trucks of 40+ ton, graders and larger dozers such as CAT D6 and upwards are in high demand, as is crushing and screening equipment. The utilities sectors that support the start up of new mining sites like building the roadwork infrastructures and laying new utilities are also demanding large diggers and excavators, wheeled pavers, all sizes of rollers and large 40+ ton trucks. Preferred makes include CAT, Komatsu, and Bomag for rollers and Volvo for large dump trucks. So if you’ve got this type of kit to sell, make sure it’s prepared well as the better the equipment condition, the more in demand it is and prices are strong right now.

Large pipeline projects as well as the ongoing infrastructure works are creating demand for specialised equipment with pipe welding equipment and trenching machines in high demand. And of course, the exchange rate between the Australian Dollar and Pound Sterling is still making transactions from the north to the southern hemisphere extremely attractive.

Don’t forget China as this is a really strong market. Whilst the Chinese are actively building their own brands, they are currently visible in the global market by acquiring equipment for its own domestic use. And remember the demand for raw materials in China is accelerating the growth of the mining and extraction of raw materials in Australia and elsewhere.

European Plant and Machinery Sales wanted to help improve the overall satisfaction and efficiency of potential buyers and sellers in the global marketplace.  By partnering with Moffat Consulting & Technology to help solve this business challenge, they designed and created an application (App) for the business that could be viewed on smart phones and tablets by prospective buyers and sellers.
