With 480 exhibitors representing approximately 1,000 brands, the event is expected to draw 45 thousand visitors

This year, SOBRATEMA – Brazilian Association of Technology for Equipment and Maintenance is holding the largest edition ever of M&T Expo – the International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and International Trade Fair for Mining Equipment. The event will take place from May 29th to June 2nd at the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes (Imigrantes Exhibition Center) in São Paulo.

M&T Expo has been growing with each and every edition, accompanying the technological, marketing and economic advances in the sectors of construction and mining.  This trade fair – one of the five largest shows of its kind in the world – has become a thermometer of the market for business people who operate in this segment and, at the same time, an opportunity for companies to display and demonstrate what‘s new in their offerings and all their potential.

The trade show has already sold 100% of its exhibition area. That’s 480 exhibitors, national and international, who intend to present what’s new in approximately 1,000 brands, including equipment for earthmoving and grading; concrete plants; cranes; equipment for crushing, transporting of rock and soil, drilling in rock, and for paving;  in addition to motors, parts and components.

For this year’s edition, Sobratema expects to receive 45 thousand visitors from Brazil and countries on every continent – a public consisting of professionals, technicians and business owners from the areas of construction and mining. Visitors will have an opportunity to see not only new product introductions brought to the show by exhibitors, but also live demonstrations of equipment in full action.

The previous edition of M&T Expo, in 2009, had the participation of 436 exhibitors, 880 brands from 65 countries and 4 international pavilions, and was host to a visiting public of 41,372 attendees, 2,482 of which were foreigners. Considered the largest trade fair in the sector, M&T Expo generated R$ 1 billion (US$ 572 Mio) in transactions during its last edition.
